“CHANGE IS THE END RESULT OF ALL TRUE LEARNING” -Leo Buscaglia
In Ismailia STEM High School, we provide an exceptional learning process for our outstanding gifted students, integrating real-life application into the curriculum, which helps our students build strong-based scientific research skills and high problem-solving skills addressing real-world problems. We build a generation of scientists and change-makers that is ready to face the world's most challenging barriers towards development. The size of the graduating class is roughly 450 students, the same number of enrollers for the academic year. The main instruction language in school is English, which enhances communication skills with the outside world for our students. The curriculum available is national-based, integrating more advanced topics and harder examinations compared to the general national educational system to put our students in a thrilling and challenging environment where they get the best out of them.
The capstone project is a way to take the subjects outside classrooms to the real world. fulfilling the school's mission of graduating pioneers and problem-solvers to foster the progress of the nation and the world.
The Capstone project is a semester group project that addresses a chosen Egypt's grand challenge:
Students work in groups of 3 to 5, varying according to the grade, to research possible solutions, construct and test prototypes of their proposed solution, and communicate the results. Students write a scientific poster and portfolio, along with a biweekly exam that measures the student's progress and ability to connect the curriculum to the project. Finally, Ph.D. professors evaluate the projects on a college-level research rubric, which constitutes a considerable part of the project's grade. Engineers and other technical professionals supervise students throughout their projects.
Students get involved in research and project development at various agencies, including corporate, university, and government institutions. Students learn problem-solving, organized thinking, teamwork, research, presentation, construction & hand skills, and scientific methods, capstone project is a way for STEM students to excel in solving real-world problems.
Capstone not only makes scientists, it makes long lasting memories. View some of our capstone exhibition annual photo.
Most courses are at the Honors level for our STEM enthusiastic students; the school doesn't offer AP courses. in Grade 12, students choose between two sections: Math and Science. Each section has its more specialized courses and advanced laboratories, Students take both scientific subjects and humanities subjects.

Ismailia STEM high School follows letter grading system starting from A+ and ending with F; the grades
are put as the following table shows:
IN HONOR OF OUR OUTSTANDING STUDENTS, WE MADE THIS LIST TO CELEBRATE THEIR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF BEING IN THE PREMIERS OF EGYPT FOR THEIR SCHOOL YEAR.
Whether in dorms or in school, our students learn and develop exclusive skills during their journey of 3 years in Ismailia STEM High School, which helps them later in their academic, scientific, and life journey. These skills are implanted in our students through a lot of ways, starting from the capstone project to daily basis interactions between students and each other.
